Community Leaders Unite Behind Adrin Nazarian for Assembly

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CA –  Valley community leaders rallied behind Adrin Nazarian’s bid for the California State Assembly today as neighborhood council leaders, members of community groups and a wide range of committed Angelenos coalesced around what they said is the best choice for the Valley’s newly drawn 46th Assembly District.

The growing list of endorsements (below) reflects Adrin’s commitment to Valley neighborhoods and communities, including support from neighborhood councils, homeowner, residential and neighborhood associations of Valley Glen, Studio City and Sherman Oaks.

“I am pleased that the leaders of our community, who’ve worked so hard to better our neighborhoods, have placed their trust in me to fight for them in Sacramento,” said Nazarian, current chief-of-staff to L.A. City Councilmember Paul Krekorian and a current boardmember of the East Valley YMCA. “The reform we so desperately need in Sacramento will not be born of one person to shake the halls of power, but by a coalition of committed residents who no longer accept the status quo. I am proud to have their support and know that together we can put politics aside and begin repairing our fractured system.”

Among those who’ve lent their support are John Walker, president of the Studio City Neighborhood Council, and Dr. Marlene Bane, who serves on the Board of Governors for the Jewish Home for the Aging.  “I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Adrin and can personally attest to his diligence, experience and true passion for our community,” Walker said. “I have the utmost of confidence in his ability and know that his experience – whether its about the inner workings of Sacramento or of the Valley – will only serve to make government work better for us.”

“Adrin has the experience and capabilities to work for us,” Dr. Bane said. “I’ve seen first hand his intelligence and ability to find creative solutions to tough problems and know that he is exactly the right leader for these times. I hope you will join me in wholeheartedly supporting Adrin for Assembly.”

The newly drawn 46th Assembly District includes the Los Angeles neighborhoods of North Hollywood, Toluca Lake, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Valley Village, Valley Glen, Van Nuys, Panorama City, North Hills, Lake Balboa and the Hollywood Hills.
