Valley Industry and Commerce Association Endorses Adrin Nazarian for State Assembly

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY – The Valley Industry & Commerce Association (VICA) endorsed Adrin Nazarian for State Assembly today, citing his comprehensive knowledge of and personal experience working with businesses in the San Fernando Valley. VICA is widely considered one of the most influential business advocacy organizations in Southern California.

“Adrin shares our vision for the Greater San Fernando Valley to become the location of choice for Southern California businesses and families,” said VICA President Stuart Waldman. “The small businesses of the San Fernando Valley endorse Adrin because they know, like so many of us, that he has the skills necessary to help improve our regional and State economic environment.”

“The small businesses that drive the San Fernando Valley are made up of long time residents and family owned operations,” said Nazarian. “I’m pleased VICA and it’s membership have endorsed me and realize that I will represent the interests of the valley’s residents and businesses.”

Adrin currently serves as Chief of Staff to L.A. City Councilmember Paul Krekorian. He grew up in the San Fernando Valley, attending high school there before receiving his degree in Economics from UCLA in 1996. He has been a CORO Fellowship in Public Affairs program participant, a board member of the East Valley YMCA and YWCA, and a founding member of the Generation Next Mentorship program.

The newly drawn 46th Assembly District includes the Los Angeles neighborhoods of North Hollywood, Toluca Lake, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Valley Village, Valley Glen, Van Nuys, Panorama City, North Hills, Lake Balboa and the Hollywood Hills. The primary is June 5, 2012.
